War on Preppers makes its way into the Conn. shooting

If you perceive some of the facts surrounding this case to be part of a "war on preppers," that's your prerogative. But there are two facts you cannot ignore:

1) She was a prepper.

2) Her state of mind (whatever it was) enabled the killer.

I would simply re-state your premise as such: Conn. shooting makes it's way to preppers.

Might want to start a war on Boy Scouts, Be Prepared. Or you can be like Obamas crew and wait for government help.

Unfortunately we live in a society that idolizes what I guess I will call urban media with the assumption that we will always be able to turn the lights on when we want to and always be able to buy tomorrow's food tomorrow. Context helps in these matters, especially when discussing superstorm Sandy and how thousands, if not millions declined to leave their homes during and the consequences of their choice that followed.

We will never know, but it is somewhat concerning that Mrs. Lanza was reportedly wanting to involuntarily hospitalize her son whom she had previously gave some level of firearms training to. Those two things don't mix well.

Anybody beside me getting tired on NY complaining about a minor hurricane, do what we do down here pick up and move on, OH, forgot Obama was going to cut through government red tape, and you believed him. LOL
