This violates both the 1st. and 2nd amendment.

That was one ignorant or rogue employee, not "WalMart." And it doesn't violate any part of the constitution and wouldn't even if it had been done pursuant to WalMart policy. But never let the facts get in the way of an alarmist gun forum post.
You mean like the Photographer and Baker that wouldn't service gay couples due to their beliefs?

No, the OP is about constitutional gun rights or freedom of expression verses civil rights. Big difference. Walmart can refuse to print anything they want and can also refuse to sell ammo; just as long as they don't refuse for a reason that violates someone's civil rights... ie: handicapped, gay, muslim, etc. As a private corporation on privately owned property they are within their rights. And I support this. But this isn't a Walmart policy. They sell shotgun ammo a hundred feet away. Should have called the store manager.

Super Walmart Santa Fe has NO WEAPONS ALLOWED posted on entrances. I'll have to have a talk with Mngt. I thought Corp. directed all stores to take down signs.

Called the Mgr at the store. She physically went outside to look at the door. She stated to me that above the large NO WEAPONS sign is vary small print that states "Only permitted concealed weapons carriers are allowed". I haven't been back as yet but will look for the exception. One would think that the statement would have been the same size as the no weapons sign.
