Walmart refused to print photo with gun in it

Did you read the article?

Walmart ended up printing the photos, saying the employee was new and didn't understand the policy.

If you watch the whole video, it was not Walmart, it was one employee, going rogue. As a store, Walmart is pretty supportive of gun rights. We all have guns and ammo in our collections from Walmart, most of us do anyway. Most every Walmart in every town sells guns, or ammo, or both. It was an error by one employee, and a slow news day. Nothing to see here, move on.

Howdy,

My local WalMart ( there's about 20 within 35 miles of my home ) print photos w/ guns all the time. Heck, every other redneck that kills a deer will take a pic w/ cell phone and have it printed off at Walmart.

This from the article, " It is evident to any reasonable person that there was no promotion of gang culture", was (A). Not a reasonable person and (B). Some kid that was the product of a government run PC educational system run amok. I fear for our future when these idiots vote and reproduce.

You have been in Walmart. The entry level employees are a long ways off from command decisions leading our country. We have very great problems facing us in the days ahead, however the foundation of our country will NOT crumble from behind the photo counter at the back of Walmart. All gun loving Americana will make it past this! lol

Not in Delaware where they will not sell Rifles or shotguns other than black powder. And ammo is always scarce there for pistols.

The Walmarts in the urban areas of western New York do not sell firearms, although all of them sell ammo. The Walmarts in the rural areas of western NY do sell long guns, but no handguns.

Within 1 mile of the Walmart closest to my home are two handgun dealers - one is a local gun shop and the other a recently opened Cabela's.

I suspect the decision not to sell handguns at any of its stores in my area, and not to sell long guns in its urban stores, was made more on economic considerations rather than political ones.

Many employees of businesses have gone outside of the parameters of their pay grade to foster their belief that they are someone of authority... some very small minded people find it pleasurable to find a way to say No...while good employees find a way to say yes to a customer.

I always carry in Walmarts here, and in MO, where the closest WM resides. They are always out of ammo, that is common.

Their decision not to sell sidearms was based on the murder rate committed with sidearms, with many instances of their sold sidearms being involved in them, and subsequent litigation because of deep pockets association. This prompted a nationwide walmart ban on selling sidearms.

They still sell longarms and ammo here in AR, when they may get it. They also sell ARs, and they have a nice S&W .22 I'd like, but the price is inflated, as it has become most popular for plinkers or small game hunters, wanting to keep their AR familiarity, like their other calibers.

I suppose I could get a .22 conversion kit for my AR, but don't want to shoot lead and foul the bore. Put a hundred or so with that, and get a dedicated .22. The S&W is simply out of touch at their asking price. That, along with scarcity of .22LR ammo is a dealbreaker for me. Oh! No threaded barrel on the S&W either.
