Walk for OC?

I'm thinking about having a walk for OC this summer. Maybe a 1-5k walk to make people aware that OC is legal. I'm still toying with the idea, but maybe we can get some shirts from Luke with the site name and logo, maybe have a banner made up for the chase car? BBQ at the end of the walk, maybe people can donate money to the NRA or to USA/Open carry, in the name of the person they are supporting. I know my fellow band of trolls we will chime in here soon. Lay out the ideas.

The idea is to hold an event like Relay for life, but for OC awareness.

Well It has to start some place, I was thinking of NH in and around my city. Then having them spread(if it catches on) Have KimberRB hold on In Ohio,Its hold on in MI,Scott hold on in FL and so on. Unlike relay for life this will not be an all night event(they walk around a track all night). I would love to here ideas for how it should happen and what things we could/should do. Lets lay out the basic layout for how the events will be held. Then each member wishing to hold one of their own, will already have the blue prints of how to pull it off/what works best.

I would still have to talk to Luke about and make sure we can use his logo and site name. Let the ideas fly.

P.S, concealed carry is more then welcome, try and keep it to OC of hand guns(don't have to) but I don't want to scare the living **** out of the sheep. Best to work up to that, but if a rifle is all you own, your more then welcome to carry it.

I like it. We have a two-mile long bridge into Sandpoint. The pedestrian path would provide great visibility. Not like you need to convince many people around here, but a four-mile armed hike and a BBQ at City Beach sounds like a great time to me!

This would be a great Nation wide display. I wonder what it would take to get a day set aside?

legislators may describe themselves as representatives of the people. But that is only a cunning masquerade. Their chief vocation is to strengthen the law

It would not take much at all. We could do one at a time, or pick a set day and have them all happen on that set day, video tape them all and post to youtube, invite the main stream press to the events as well. Maybe get someone who is handy with video editing software to edit all the videos together?

Have shirts that say "Open carry is Legal, come join us?" have USACARRYS logo and site address on the shirts? Maybe Luke could make some money from his site sponsors and charge them a smell fee to get their name and logos on the shirts( kinda like a free walking billboard?)

All we have to do get numbers, of how many in each state/city will be doing it. Come up with a date and time and how long the walk will be, pick a place to have the BBQ's etc. I was thinking the chase car/cars could have a banner on the back and or on the side of them, stating what the event was and that OC was legal per state law, have company names and logos?

I'm in Western PA. But I think we should get 20+ guys with PA Licenses to Carry Firearms and have an Open Carry Event in Philadelphia and see if they have the guts to harass us.

I made a quick one with ideas.
