Waiting for new pistol

Put my name on the waiting list for the new Ruger SR 22. We have lots of 9mm, .380, shotguns, etc. but want to lower the ammo expense a bit. I'm sure one of the 9's will go to the range each time, but it'll be nice to spend an extra hour or so shooting inexpensive ammo. This seems to be one of the current hot items since there is a waiting list for them. I think I'm #9 on the list and forty have been ordered. List: $399, my store: $329. That's about typical for their pricing. Will post update after a range evaluation.

Ha the shop I work for here in Iowa almost always has sr22s on hang we sell ours for I want to say 349.99 not sure on that price but sound right.

Do they have any insight on when you will get it since Ruger is so far on backorder that they have stopped taking orders?

They got three, sold two and put one on "display only" status. All I can say is that their order was placed in Jan. No clue as to when I'll actually see one.

Ya I read that to,somewhere.I gotta have one of those eventually.I love that SR22.

I called Mossberg today to order a new barrel for my shotgun and they said it will be apprx. 1 1/2months till it gets down.They are swamped as well.
