Waist size for IWB carry

When you began carrying IWB did you have to get bigger waist size pants? How much bigger?

1-2 inches more, depending on the pants.

I did not get bigger clothes, I just left the top button unbuttoned and that took care of the problem. Worked for me for a lot of years, still does.

Depends. How loose or how tight do you wear your pants now? I have some pants that fit a little snugly around my waist, and I could never get a holster and gun in there. I have other pants that have a looser fit and could easily fit a gun in there.

I didnt get bigger pants but I have ordered larger sizes in belts and shirts
