Applied on 1/23 and received it it yesterday, 3/1. Pretty quick since Virginia is a "Shall" issue state with a 45 calendar day window to issue in.

Congrats Wally! I have been waiting for mine like a kid waiting for christmas. OSBI (Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation) charged my credit card on Jan 18th. They started mailing them now, so I am waiting on our mail lady everyday!

Oklahoma took 60 days for mine. Applied Nov 1st and issued Dec 28th. Plus a week to get to Tulsa got it here around the 5th of January 2013.

I received mine today in NY after fingerprints were completed on Jan 23. Five weeks in Schuyler County. Nice to have pro gun judge!

The difference in the time it takes in different localities is funny. My original application took 14 days to get my permit and the renewal took 13 days here in York County. Some places just seem to be gun friendly and efficient.
