It's a brick. It's the world's first and perhaps only crew-served .45ACP. You have to be about seven feet tall and weigh 400 pounds to conceal carry it. When you run out of ammo you can use it as a battering weapon.

It is, the one, the only, the world's largest .45ACP semi-automatic handgun, I present, the HK MK23!!

Anyone use one before? Here's the link to the video:

You're not seeing it in context, that guy is 12 foot tall and the gun has a eight in barrel, of course your probably used to something that is supposed to be eight inches and looks like three inches. "SNICKER, Snicker, snicker..."

The HK MK23 is 9.65" long and 5.9" high.. My EDC is a Springfield XDM 40 4.5" which is 8" long and 5.6" high and I have zero problems concealing it. It would be nothing to conceal another 1.65" in length and .3" in height - I'm 6'1" and 235lbs and I carry at a 45° cant.

I have a mk23 and I used to own a ar pistol in .45 that was much larger. The mk23 is not the largest either in size of weight.

This is meant to be a service/tactical, competition, open carry weapon. IMHO
It was built to get a gov contract for socom type units. It was mass produced for the civilian market because there are many folks like me who like high quality toys and do not mind spending the money tot get them.
