Veteran Permit Advice

I recently left the military, and I know I can get my permit without doing the classes, but I'm not seeing the qual on any of my records aside from my DD-214 which says I have the M9 Pistol ribbon. Does anyone have any advice on this?

I know here in Arizona, they only want to see that you have an honorable discharge. They don't look for 'qualifications'.
