Very Interesting Article On Dateline, Self Defence Implications?

men shouldn't be ashamed to cry or talk about their feelings
after all they are human too
doing so makes them no less a man than any other man

yes fudo we are more than capable of killing and have created many weapons of mass destruction but i think you missed my point
being; we are not born killers we were conditioned and trained to kill!
we are the only animal on this planet who kills their own kind in the most ungodly ways and arrogant enough to think we are the most intelligent creature on top of that even

ps there is no ligit reason to murder millions of innocent citizens just because some talking head on tv claims they are our enemies or demonized them as terrorists witches savages less than human etc
nor is it just or acceptable to fly false flags to justify war
imho

Again, I must disagree. In our most basic level, run by our "reptile brain", we are killers. That is what we are. The key to civilization is altruism, and a sense of community. Those things that make us civilized are mostly learned behavior.
I understand the argument that humans are inherently good, I just haven't seen as much evidence to support

Could you maybe find another thread to troll and quit trying to hijack this one?

i see evidence of it every day but i guess that's just what kind of company one keeps
scientific research proves we are natural empaths not natural killers
the only reason you don't see much good is we live in a corrupted by design culture and taught hate prejudice fear and buy into their bs and beliefs and thoughts turn into actions
how different the world would be if education was the major priority, a diabolical dynasty wasn't creating problems and offering their bs solutions , or we lived in a resource based economy rather than money based economy ........but so long we are being deceived cheated manipulated by the existing system i don't see it getting any better i do hope this perverted paridigm shifts in to a more mindful awakened state of global consciousness soon but that is up to each of us individually and collectively to be the change you wanna see in the world it happens when we change rather than following funky status quo

treo how was that not on topic?

I haven't seen you mention the article referenced in the OP once or make any comment related to the OP

I'm just going to start reporting your troll posts and see how long it takes to get you banned.

Alternatively, you could stay the ******* away from my threads

erm treo the topic was on pstd! and men who need to cry and talk about their feelings be it from experiences on the combat zone or elsewhere should be able to talk and or cry about is as those two emotions are part of healing
why do you feel it necessary to report me??? and for what ? report me if you feel you must but i think you're just being ridiculous after all you riding my ass on this thread has nothing to do the the topic at hand! but you making it about me instead. so who is being the 'troll' here? certainly not me so report me and let the mod see it's you trolling me so please spare me your stupidity and don't address me with your silly whining about keeping on topic

Pretty much Bull.. I just picked this post but it is obvious you have led a very sheltered life. You couldnt be more wrong about human nature if you tried.

I think the key word is "theory" from professor Kilner. Hell, we all have theories. One of my theories is that soldiers do get offered immediate psychological support from their compadres especially when they make a good kill. "Attaboy! Beautiful shot Sergeant, ya took the enemy's head clean off with that one", "thanks Capt'n" or maybe "nice grouping around their pumper, private" or "excellent arm corporal, ya took out 6 of those dirty ragheads with that grenade".

Someone mentioned the commandment "thou shalt not kill" but I read somewhere that the ancient Roman Catholic church changed it from "thou shalt not kill/murder in cold blood (premeditated). So police and soldiers may have a religious conflict when using deadly force.

I hope I am never put in the situation to be forced to take someone's life but I'll do what I have to to survive. I have heard and read that it will change your life more likely in a negative way and not just from a legal standpoint either.

I have a theory concerning PTSD, I believe that a large number of cases are caused by the person having it being conditioned to believe that it's inevitable.

It may sound weird but I believe that you can talk yourself into having it

I have occasional bad dreams and i think I've mentioned that I shoved my wife out of bed one night because I heard machine gun fire in a dream. but I don't believe I have any PTSD

I believe many conditions we have are because we are conditioned to believe that it is inevitable. I cannot speak to ptsd, never having had to kill anyone. But I agree with you because I have always thought the same, in regards to many things, including certain illnesses, both of the mind and body.

It's generational. You deal with it depending on how you were brought up like everything else. It used to be men didn't cry, talk about their feelings, or try to get in touch with their feminine side. That pendulum has swung far to the other side. Now the country is in decline.

On Nightline tonite there was a story about guys getting facials, manicures, hair removal, pedicures, and more crap like that. The only way some squirrel is getting that close to my nuts with a sharp object is if I have a bullet hole in my head. They can keep it. I prefer the old ways.

Yeah it makes me sick to see the feminization of man. I see young males walking around with capri pants or those skinny leg jeans like girls wear and their hair long on one side and multicolored and wearing ear rings in both sides and acting all effeminate. I just wanna walk up and hit them upside the head. I believe something other than fluoride has been put in the water supply to chemically neuter us and yet it is making females more aggressive. This is another way the globalists are keeping the masses under their control so we don't get angry and aggressive and try to overthrow them. They keep us drugged up on alcohol, prescription drugs (which end up in our water supply via sewage treatment plants and can't be filtered out) and illegal drugs and then brainwash us via communication sources, mainly TV and radio.

effeminate men are not attractive to me either, but i wouldn't deny them their right to dress as they wish
nor do i like that sloppy pants hanging well below the boxers style but it's their right to do so and i wouldn't want to take anyones right to freedom of expression
but the funky hair styles some folks come out with are kinda cool imo
to each their own so long they not harming others i could care less what they wear

treos avatar looks like an effeminate man to me now, when i first came here i thought he was a female by the avatar but after reading some his posts it appears he is a he
hehe hehe

hi fudo i think he was addressing me
and if so here is my response

“Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.”
Marianne Williamson quotes

I can tell you that when I was out riding my bike 2 weeks ago and stopped at a local restaurant where bike riders congregate I was introduced to a fellow rider. He was a police officer from North Jersey. A very nice guy about mid 30s, that was involved in a fatal SD shooting while on duty and was cleared by eyewitnesses and the D.A. as a good shoot. (As if any can be good). I could tell in his speech and mannerisms that he was totally freaked out by the situation even tho there was no discussion of the incident. He is currently thinking of leaving the force. I feel tremendously for him as I don't think it will ever leave him peace.

violence is not our true state and those who must commit a violent act even in self defense is hard for those who still have good strong connections to their divinity which is why many soldiers come back needing a good mental health checkup and follow ups to collect the parts of their soul lost even just seeing the atrocities of demonic acts of war and or being forced to kill to survive after being placed in a combat zone in the first place
whilst self defense is necessary and even instinctive the violence and gruesomness of war is not natural but a conditioning our soldiers are trained to take on based on false flags propaganda and false sense of patriotism

here is a good read on this site might help to clarify the definition of psychopaths

I think humans are violent by nature and violence is always the first choice we make in extreme circumstance such as combat or a gunfight. It is the pavlovian conditioning that is the result of an evolutionary choice to live in a community//social environment that is the problem for us. When the individual is confronted with the acts of his/her lizard brain in regard to self preservation, either by choice or circumstance, it is the conflict with the conditioning that results in mental trama. Those that understand that we are incredibly violent by nature deal with the resulting acts much easier. Those that embrace that nature usually select either criminal or mercenary career paths for the most part.

still i don't think we are violent by nature
i think we all born innocent and full of nothing but love .......culture conditions us on 'good and evil' but from there it's up to choose which to be
as for me i choose goodness love and peace

reminds me of this ol cherokee legend

''"Grandfather Tells" which is also known as "The Wolves Within"

An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.

I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.

But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times." He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.

But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.

Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."

The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"

The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

Native American Legends''

Beautiful story. I believe I know much about the war inside of me. Sometimes, it is the wrong "Wolf" that is fed. It is a battle I have dealt with through much of my life.
