If you are looking for a concealed carry holster you might want to consider the VersaCarry. I recently purchased one and I love it. I currently carry a Rock Island 1911cs weighing in a a little over 2 lbs:; the VersaCarry may add another couple of ounces. From a concealed carry standpoint I really like this holster. It is light and it does a good job of securing my weapon. Drawing the weapon is very smooth and easy, my concern about snagging is no more that what I would have if I were to tuck my weapon into my waistband. The Gen 2 version does com with a trigger guard that is optional for installment. I personally choose not to utilize it, I just keep my finger off the trigger until I am ready to fire. Either way the holster is no more limiting or dangerous than the person who is using it. If you carry a concealed weapon you need to practice employing it on a regular basis. So far in my opinion this holster is absolutely fantastic from weight and durability standpoint. The only drawback is that you can not re-holster without removing the VersaCarry from your belt. Do consider that if you draw you weapon you should mean to; so re-holstering at the scene is not usually huge consideration. If you are looking for a holster do take a look at the VersaCarry system.
