Pretty sure the answer is no but thought I'd check anyway.
I'm going to be visiting South Carolina this summer for a week or two. I live in California and have a CA and AZ concealed carry permit. I know South Carolina doesn't accept either of these, but is there a temporary permit that I can apply for just while I'm visiting, or am I going to have to feel naked for the entire week?

There's a really good app for the IPhone called ICHL. It has all the purchase/carry information for all 50 states. I would reccomend for anyone that travels with a firearm.

If you own land in SC you can apply for a permit. If not, being from CA your screwed. SC doesn't recognize non-resident permits, and doesn't recognize CA permits. Hopefully HR 822 will get passed and put an end to the problems of being able to protect yourself while traveling.

Oh well. I have a friend who lives in out there with a South Carolina permit. Maybe I'll just tell him he needs to follow me around for a few days.

I wonder if California would accept other state's Conceal Carry Permits, that other states would do the same?
