To my fellow patriots in the State of New York, I have copied and pasted the text of an e-mail sent to me yesterday by NYS Senator James Seward (R). Also, please support the petition drive to repeal the legislation. Details below.
I have heard from a great many in regard to the onerous new regulations being imposed on lawful gun owners by Governor Cuomo’s newly passed gun control law. As you know, I am strongly against these measures and voted NO on the bill.
Several lawsuits are being contemplated and I am optimistic that the courts will overturn portions, if not all of New York’s new law. One of my senate colleagues, Senator Kathy Marchione has initiated a petition drive to repeal the legislation. I am supporting her effort and ask you to please sign-on if you haven't already done so. Should efforts to thwart the new gun control law fall short, I want to make sure you are well informed and able to take whatever steps you deem necessary to comply.
