"Uniformed Up" Once Again

Everyone, my father (72) and I (47) are back in Navy uniform next week to attend my son's Pass in Review (graduation) from Navy basic training. My dad and I both retired with over 20 years of service. His dad served during and after WWI, and the generation prior was in the CSN, but it still counts!

He represents the fifth continuous generation in my family of naval service. I had to buy new, because my old uniforms have shrunk!

Very cool. You and your father must be proud. Thanks for your past and future service. BTW isn't it amazing how clothes shrink just by hanging in the closet? :)

Here too. All that still fits are the hats. Guess it's just the cheap material they used in the uniforms.

Congrats to your family. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend both my sons' and my grandson's basic training graduations.

Congratulations! You and your father will once again proud. Not that you didn't before, but at least, this one is special. I hope you have good weather following you.
