The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity, is proudly announcing that the U.S. military is again using their chaplains for active-duty service after a 15-year lull.

ISNA has a well-documented extremist history. In 1991, the Muslim Brotherhood listed ISNA as one of its main fronts. Declassified FBI memos said ISNA is a component of the Muslim Brotherhood, who sees its “work in America as a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

In 2007, the U.S. government labeled ISNA a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity and an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism-financing trial involving the Holy Land Foundation funneling money to Hamas. The label was upheld in 2009 because of “ample” evidence linking ISNA to Hamas. Last year, ISNA’s Canadian affiliate lost its status as a charity because of its accounting discrepancies and links to Pakistani terrorists.

The two chaplains endorsed by ISNA are Sgt. Mustapha Rahouchen, who will be used by the U.S. Army, and Captain Rafael Lantiqua, who was chosen by the U.S. Air Force.

In April 2013, the Clarion Project broke the story that the U.S. Air Force Chaplain Corps had paid ISNA almost $5,000 for two advertisements in its magazine. When we contacted the Air Force about ISNA’s ties to the Brotherhood, we received the following response:

“The Islamic Society of North America is one of many religious organizations recognized by the Department of Defense that satisfy the ecclesiastical requirements to endorse qualified religious ministry professionals to serve as chaplains within the Military Departments.”

This story speaks to the broader threat posed by Islamist involvement in Muslim chaplain programs.

Where is Mikey Weinstein and is he going to complain about Muslims in the same manner he does Christians? DoD will probably let them mention Muhammed all they want while Christian chaplains can't mention Jesus. Something not quite right there!

the Hiring of Muslim chaplains is no surprise. America Elected a Muslim President didn't they?

Watching this will not be a waste of time.

This Admiral explains the pressures our military leaders are under today to back away from their religious rights as Americans. This video is a must view by every Believer and all Patriots of the United States of America...even more so for those who understand the anguish after the suicide of a loved one.
Sinner in a Sailor Suit
"I am not really a religious man, only a sinner in a sailor suit," he says. A few days ago, at a National Day of Prayer gathering in Washington D.C. Coast Guard Rear Admiral William Lee, ditched his prepared speech, and delivered a scathing indictment of federal rules regarding expression of faith in the Military. The video has just now become available.

The plan of the muzslum brotherhood is take America down from within and imo they planted Obozo as a trojan horse. To have endure 2 more years of this POS in the Outhouse is bothersome. I can't understand why our congress has yet to file impeachment proceedings. What will it take to finally nail his ass to the wall?

The military has always had Muslim chaplains. They have chaplains for every major religion, and always have.

A few things strike me about this story. The first is that I can't find a single mention of it in any reputable media source, which is usually a reason to suspect authenticity. Another fact that seems to be carefully avoided is that the military can't hire ISNA chaplains because the ISNA doesn't have any. All the military apparently did was place an ad in an ISNA publication and accept an endorsement from ISNA on their clerical credentials.

I can find nothing from the FBI indicating ISNA is tied to terror groups. There's plenty of other fringe sites like the one above who claim it, but nothing actually concrete to back it up, and nothing from a credible news source. I know a Link Removed.

ISNA was not an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism case. The lead prosecutor in the case where that statement was made later admitted it wasn't true, and that it was just made as a "legal tactic".

As far as using ISNA to vet the ecclesiastical qualifications of Muslim clerics, there was a former DoD IG who called for that practice to stop back in 2010. Supposedly the DoD said they couldn't do that for legal reasons, but I don't know what those legal reasons supposedly were.

Thanks for doing your research. I am not "pro-Muslim" per se, but I am pro-fairness especially when it concerns disseminating un-vetted information.

It may be true or it may not but just because the Lame Stream Media ignores something does not make it not true. If it does not advance their agenda they will cover it up.

There is some validity to that point. But since several other points from the original link have proven false, chances are this isn't an issue of media bias. In fact, that's why I wasn't satisfied with simply finding no mention in other media sources, because I, like you, don't always trust the mainstream media to paint a true picture of all issues. So I dug further to check the other facts.

Wtf

This is truly one of those WTF moments.
