Two busted for shooting bottles in a Colorado Springs basement

Colorado Springs police arrested two men who were shooting bottles in a basement on Saturday.

Christian Clark, 28, and Codie Leslie, 23, are charged with prohibited use of weapons and reckless endangerment, according to police.

Police responded to a report of gunshots inside a home on the 1200 block of Royale Drive shortly before 9 p.m., according to the police blotter.

They found the front door open and heard numerous gunshots.

" Reacting immediately, officers moved inside the home, toward the sound of the gunshots."

They found three people in the basement, one of them watching as Clark and Leslie alternated using the gun to shoot at bottles.

Both men were drunk, police said.

Occifer, I was just trying to determine how robust the bottles and basement concrete blocks were. Looks like some repair is needed...as soon as I get out of jail. Maybe I'll buy a portable safe room and stock it with edibles next time. There's beer in the fridge if you want to wait-me-out...

The code sections aren't cited, but it says in the OP that they are "...charged with prohibited use of weapons and reckless endangerment, according to police."
