Turned away from the shot show

My jaw dropped to the floor when I was turned away at on-site Registration. I've attended the SHOT Show for many years. Always thought it to be a 'class act'. But when I arrived for the one day that I could be there, I was turned away at on-site Registration. I came with credit cards, order forms and a checkbook to place orders with the vendors who had paid good money to speak with customers like me. The person @ the On-Site table claimed the "New Management Company" was responsible. I have no idea who that is but I am upset. I flew all the way home thoroughly disgusted as a long-time attendee.

That sucks. You should register online next time before making the trip all the way there. Did they say it was sold out or something?

What reason did they give you? Surely they said something. Was it something to do with you personally or were they turning everybody away? Need more details please.

I'm interested in knowing the reasoning for being turned away as well.

However, I'm also an advocate of getting my ducks in a row before flying somewhere. Tough lesson. Sorry to hear of your disappointment.

That sucks. I was just wishing I had been able to go. I'm also curious about why they turned you away... if only so I can avoid it myself!
