It's just hard to get efficient service from a bunch of people that failed at flipping burgers at McD's.

This is a true story...from my husband actually he told me this many times. Being a commercial pilot they have to pass by a security that was different from the normal passengers. The guy that was assigned at their security decided to random check them and of course, their nuggets were touched. The security guy thought it was funny. All those touched of course, felt violated and didn't like it. Anyway, to cut this long story short, one pilot of high ranking was stationed here in St. Louis for a few hours of lay-over. St. Louis isn't his normal route. Having spent the night with his peers, the next morning they were together, all four of them, to pass by that naughty security guy. First one irritated was touched. He reeled with anger so the other guys let this high ranking colleague go through the process. Instead of getting angry, he moaned loud enough for all the other passengers passing through the other securities to hear. It wasn't "just a moan"...it sounded like he was pleased that this guy was touching him. the guy red faced, dropped his hands immediately and did not go through touching the other two pilots behind him. No one said a thing as they went their way...but their laugh reverberated throughout the whole airport.

Last we heard this security guy never did it again. Lesson learned.

lol tuckers mom that was funny but tsa is no joke it's a nazi operation for sure and does nothing to keep us any more secure than before it's a violation of our rights as well and shouldn't never been allowed to be if anyone should be frisked drug tested and checked out it's our own government and those who control it that need to be exposed not innocent civilians who just need to take a plane to some destination
i found it interesting they installed all those machines shortly after that so called shoe bomber who was most likely a patsy plant to further justify taking our rights away as well the whole 9-11 lie about muslims hijacking airlines to impliment that tsa bs as well as sell us the iraq war

I have no idea what their possibilities are for advancement but I've never seen a TSA agent happy to be at work. Its a $hit job...but an important one. tsa agents are similar to how the nazi soldiers treated their citizens everyone had to have papers and searched upon command my grandmother went through it and brought her children to the states when she had her chance to get the hell out and i think americans are also leaving the states in droves as well because of fascism in america... and yes i am implying the story we were told about 9-- was a lie in fact a big ugly hairy deceitful propaganda pushing puke a$$ lie to sell a war drum up an army move tons of money destroy enron records and alot of other records as well...i don't know how deep that rabbit hole goes but it has the trinity of terrors tracks and their minions tracks all over it and their bs 9-- commission report was just that a big fat hairy lie

I can't believe we have conspiracy theorist in this group...so sad. People are not going out in droves from this country. Ever since I was young, I hear people wanting to come here TO THIS country, that was why I decided to stay where I was at the time and made my way up to where I wanted to be. I always say I do not want to come to this country but God has other thoughts...and I ended up living here. I do not know if you have even gone out of this country to know the truth about what people says about America and Americans. Now that I have been living here for quite sometime, 3 boys ago...and still be able to go out at least twice a year, it makes me proud I am living here because out there, there are some groups who do not like Americans mainly because they are either arrogant to admit they are jealous of how we live our lives here or some other reasons. Most people I have met like to at least visit here, see what it's like.

It's a shame, the majority of people whom I had met here who are so against of the way of life here are usually the ones who couldn't care less about what other people feel and how they are perceived by others. I am done with you eagleeyes...this is my last post to you. Goodbye.

Amazing. You are inept. You are so blinded by what you construe as facism that you apparently disregard history...history that pertains to Middle East politics that has been going on for decades. And how US policies inadvertently caused enemies with certain Middle Easterners that are so hell bent on killing us and that are so driven to do so because of their religion and beliefs. 9/11 a lie??? Know a little history before you start subscribing to some hippy beliefs and theories. I know and work with someone that responded to Ground Zero and I've been informed of the horrors. I read just today (Newsmax) that TSA had this elderly gentleman stand up from his wheelchair and patted him down. He is 88 years old. Who was it? Nobel prize winner Henry Kissinger. Nobody had a damned clue. Oh, I forgot the best part: They asked his name before the pat down and he told them!

I have a very good friend who is a TSA agent. He is well educated and hard working and took the job after being laid off from his job of 15 years.
He had to fill out a 45 page app that went through his whole life and the process took about 3 months.
He hates the job and tells me it's a joke, all the idiots that work there! He's a easy going guy and never hassles anyone and is also very happy when he is in back in baggage. He also says there are quite a few idiots that come through who just like to yank the TSA agents chains.
The hours suck and he only gets 20 hours a week on top of the lousy pay!
I know there are agents who have a power trip, but all are not a**holes

I just had to deffend him, knowing what he puts up with.

9-11 had nothing to do with failed security but rather inadequate and stupid law. If the idiot government and airlines had instituted a reasonable policy of protecting the cockpit and refusing to cooperated with hijackers, 9-11 would never had taken place. The "box-cutters" that the terrorists used were not "missed", they simply were not illegal (nor is there any reasonable purpose for outlawing knives or box-cutters). This is simply a stupid reaction to limit everyone's liberties to make them "feel" better without really making them any safer. The results of random checks on the security has largely been hidden in the years since 9-1-1 but they did let slip that a female agent with a gun in her bra passed the new "nude" viewing machines without it being picked up. The machines have been shown to be failures in picking up "molded" explosives. We are being groped and inconvenienced without really being made any safer.
