MY family and i started shooting LAST SEPTEMBER , we all have taken safety courses ,tactical pistol classes , etc... i will be sending in for my florida CCW permit real soon.i myself have over 30 certified hours of training.i try to shoot every sunday or when i have some free time.
2 weeks ago in 1 of our classes , the nra certified instructors brought out the pro timer.we were 7 yards out & must hit the target .or the time did not count.
i am shooting my smith & wesson M & P .45 caliber using magtech blue line fmj 230 grain .45acp ammo.
6 SHOTS RAPID FIRE , we did this 3 times
my Times were 1.04 seconds , 1.01 seconds & 1.01 seconds again.i assume those times are respectable.IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO BREAK INTO THE 1 SECOND OR LESS TIME barrier ? a friend at the part time job ( CABELA'S ) , SUGGESTS THAT I RELOAD MY OWN AMMO & GET A BROWNELL SPRING KIT FOR MY SLIDE.i only want to get my time down as a personal challenge to myself.nothing more , nothing less.
i am open to all of your respected comments and advice.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Jerry Miculek shot 5 shots with an average time between shots of .11 seconds at a target 5 yards away and 8 shots in exactly 1 second a different time so it is possible but not easy or common.

I was considered 'Quick' with a hand gun in the military,
But when I saw 'Gentleman Jerry' shoot up at Minnesota I just stood there with my mouth open catching flies!

There is no way, not with a million years of practice, that I could even come close to what he can do!
And he's the nicest guy in the world! Just GREAT to talk to and BS with!
You would never know he's the fastest gun in the world, never mentions it, just a regular 'Joe'.

One thing that struck me was his change in demeanor just before he shoots,
You can see the concentration kick in, and NOTHING distracts him from that target or his actions.
He doesn't hear anything, He doesn't see anything but the target, and he's LIGHTING fast and smooth as a prom queens thighs!
Absolutely no wasted effort or movement at all!

If there hadn't been over 100 people trying to get is attention, I'm convinced he would have talked all day to us, never having seen us before... Just the nicest guy you could ever ask for!

If you watch any of his videos, you will be DUMBFOUNDED how fast he can draw/shoot ACCURATELY, and not just at the short range stuff either!

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Larry Vickers.

Alway's begin with that manta.

He doesn't hear anything,

It's called a "Game Face"
