Trying to find a bra holster for my new gun.

Last Saturday I bought a Taurus Millennium PT111 G2 and I cannot find a holster, other than the ones that fit multiple guns. I bought an Uncle Mikes IWB, but it just falls out of my pants when I bend over more than once. I really want a Flashbang (or something similar) and a Hybrid IWB. I have not been able to find either one. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Find a company that makes custom Kydex holsters for IWB, I brought mine here

But there are many other companies out there. My holster retains my gun nicely, however you being a lady might have a tougher time finding a holster that fits your body shape. The place above does have a satisfaction guarantee, so if it doesn't work for you you can return it, don't know how many other custom holster manufacturers have that. Also, if you don't see your gun on their list email them.

You could try this site for info also, there are some good review videos.

Hi Boots&guns, First congrats on taking the first steps to being prepared.
A few things I would tell you is only use the uncle mikes "holster" for maybe keeping in the safe or on the night stand. I would not recommend carrying with one, You really want a holster that would facilitate reholstering one handed if needed, AND one that securely holds your firearm in place. As you have already mentioned and found out for yourself this one does not. That is a problem with generic one size fits many holsters. There are lots of options out there and people have different opinions on them as well. A lot has to do with what you like, and feel comfortable with. I used to carry in a leather holster, but found that after a period of time the leather would break down..... This is not so bad if you keep it in the holster, and never practice your draw, and reholster, or do any training with it. Some will hold up better than others. At first I carried OWB then I started to carry IWB with a Galco Summer comfort, and then the King tuk. I have now switched to a Kydex that is custom made for my firearm. There are many options for these as well. I happened to find a manufacture of a brand that I consider one of the best holsters I have ever owned. (And cheaper too! I bought a $70 one recently that the internet was raving about, after two days, Im back to my $35 one! haha The company is called On your 6 Designs) I have also seen where leather can sometimes become worn or "molded" based on where and how we wear it to our surroundings, for example I had a student who drove all day and the connector from his seat belt made an indentation in his leather holster, after several months.

As for the flash bang a close friend just bought one, She did not like it at first, she said it was comfortable and not noticeable but awkward at first drawing with it, but after two days she called me and said she loved it, and has been recommending it to all her friends. She told me that after just a few days of practicing with it, it has become a second nature process to draw, shes gone on several dates and to work with it and has never had any issues with it, she has even forgotten that she had her gun with her.

Good luck in the class. I am going over to reply to that post now! LOL

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check them out. The uncle mikes was a bad purchase...as of right now it is protecting my gun in the safe. I had read that a lot of people like them, but it was not a good fit for me!

Welcome to the protected world!
You might try a Remora No-Clip IWB holster. The make them to fit nearly any pistol, automatic or revolver. They also have them with a re-inforced top for easy one-handed re-holstering. They have no clip on them. They do not move. Period. I wear one many times. It's the material they're made out of that keeps them in place. Less than $35 when I bought mine.

I found an IWB that I like and I think it will work until the Flashbang comes out for mine. Thanks for checking!!

I bought a flashbang for my Ruger LCP. I wonder if you email Looper if they'd consider making one for yours. Mine was as detailed as the LCP + Crimson Trace. I don't wear it often, though.

I am currently waiting on an Ava IWB for my Springfield XDS. I saw a great recommendation. I like that it has two clips to hold in place, and that you can use it without a belt, because I very rarely wear one.

I second the Ava IWB holster and the Remora. I carry the S&W Shield in the Ava and it is very comfortable. The Remora is another great option and, unlike the Ava which is made specifically for my Shield, allows me to carry my S&W 3913, Walther Pk380, or the Shield. I have been curious about the Flashbang, though.
