trouble outside of bank drive up window?

went to the bank with the wife yesterday.
she was driving and needed to cash a check.
I had gone fishing before hand and was not dressed where I could carry with out printing.
So I left the carry at home. we pulled up to the bank window and she slid the signed check in as I watched a man walk by my side of the car headed to the back of the car. (first alarm bell went off)
next thing I knew he was next to my wife and her open window, placing what looked like a title into the now open bank draw. (alarm alarm) every thing turned out ok. he had been motioned up to the window by the 2nd clerk in the bank.
This is a big no no. you never want some one to walk up on you like this at a bank window.
I spoke to the wife and mad my point clear that next time she is to yell out the window for them to back off and get away from the car.
This could have been bad, and there I was with no carry
we all make mistakes and this one turned out ok.
My carry goes with me every where Other then work where It is not permitted.
I learned that the next time I will change into something that allows carry. :pleasantry:

P.S. I think a nice note hand carried into the bank explaining what a bad Idea it was to motion this guy up
to the window like that. well you get the Idea...

If you were going through the drive thru...what difference does printing make?

Yep. I try my best not to print but realize someday someone will see me printing or shirt revealing a gun. But I won't not carry because of it.

I would not send a note to the bank. I would be inside blistering the managers backside verbally. That was a garbage move from the teller. I would have ripped the individual a new one also. Even if a teller told me to do that, I would have had the commone sense, decency whatever to say no

Wow, that would have got me going too. Like that saying goes, I would rather carry a gun for the rest of my life and never need it - than the one time I need it and don't have it.

we had a few other places to go like walmart and dinner. if it had been just the bank I would have just slipped it in my back pocket.
being inside the car I would have drawn but kept it out of sight.
It all happened so fast that one has a hard time thinking.
also a note. should have had my wife place car in drive and move.....
hmm maybe leave car in drive in the first place. :to_pick_ones_nose:

In the past 60 day here in Enid we have had to gun downs, so every one is jumpy.
I did see him putting a title in to the slot so my alarm bell slowed some what.

The bank is the one we have our accounts in and do all of our business at. (know tellers by first name)
nice tellers, one just did a dumb move and the guy went along with it.
they will here from me so this may not happen again.
:pleasantry:
