TRICARE Prime

There has already been one posting about proposed cuts in Tricare benefits for retirees. However, I have received information about planned cuts and increased costs for the families of active servicemembers. This strikes me as a slap in face to the brave, patriotic and honorable men and women who defend our country. I hope everyone who sees this will contact your members of Congress to protest this despicable action.

Good luck, we're al getting clobbered. United Healthcare just dropped both my NYC heart surgeons. Among the best in the country. Told me to go see some hack doctor instead.

Yep, we've gotten charged more. And copays for medication have gone steadily up. What started as $30 is now $55. Luckily I haven't had to switch doctors... Can't believe the heart surgeon thing... that's insane.

Yep, it's reason: 1,389 for why I'm getting out in May! Being in the military ain't what it's cracked up to be............

Hey guys, remember... It's more important that the Welfare State be expanded than it is to give service members meaningful benefits for what they do.

So, when do we gather to bury America? 'Cause she's dead....

Just switch to plane old Tricare. It is a standard 80/20 health insurance and it is free to Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and retired Military.

You can use any Doctor that accepts Tricare. No "in network/Out of network" crap.

The wife and I are one the fence whether to get Tricare Prime or Regular but I think that it will be our's secondary and the Medical will be primary, we go Weday to see.

If you are on Medicare, it will be the primary, and you will have to sign up for Tricare for Life (Medicare Supplemental).

Tricare for life? Yes I will be retiring from Boeing and they have Medicare so I want to have Tricare along with Medicare because I've heard that you medicine are free.
