In Texas at our CCW class we learned that if you paint your fence posts purple every so many feet then you can shoot to kill anyone who comes on your property. Honest to God, it is in the gun laws book we were given at class. God, I LOVE Texas.

Yeah, but laws on the books and case law aren't always the same. If they can fudge it, they will.

Try to find some case law in Texas pertaining to someone actually doing it and see how it played out in court for the defendant.

Purple posts or purple trees would be the international symbol for a property line. I learned that one from a Texas Game Warden
