Travel info question

I will be traveling from WV to Fl for vacation in september. I just got my conceal carry (wv) back in febuary. I know GA doesnt reconize wv permits and was wondering what i can do about transporting my gun as i drive through GA.
does anyone know where i can find information on this subject my search results have not been informative.

You don't need a license to have a loaded gun in your car in Georgia. The gun just has to be in plain sight or closed in a glove compartment, console, etc. You can't carry outside the vehicle without a license though, so unload it before exiting the vehicle or lock it up somewhere. You can also keep a loaded gun in any hotel room in Georgia.

Last year I called NM and Texas dps, they were nice to talk with and expained everything.
This year, I have permits from enough states that I am covered in most areas.
Youngest is in San Diego, and we Jeep west of Yuma, that is still a problem.
