Travel from Arkansas

I have a buddy who is traveling form Arkansas to mid Tennessee, whats the differences and what can he do and not do. Somebody while back told me that TN was a open carry state if so could he open carry even tho he only has a AR CWP? Thanks in advance!

He can open carry in TN as long as he has a permit regardless if the state that it is from is CC only. As far as TN laws go, I recomend checking here http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/tennessee.pdf
