Toy guns are OK as long as they resemble the MP5K, the president's toy of choice.

So the presidential message is that toy guns, squirt guns in particular, are OK as long as they are fully automatic versions of the MP5K. I'm glad we got that straight.

Apparently, the president failed to check with Principle Hill at Strobridge Elementary School:

“As they get older, it becomes just a natural thing,” Hill told KPIX 5. “If they have a real gun in their hand, they’ll pull the trigger just as quick. I mean, they don’t fear it.”

So, according to the good principle's theory, instead of having just 30 homicides per day (source - CDC, 2010 figures, FASTSTATS - Homicide), given the number of firearm owners in the US, we should be dealing with THOUSANDS of firearms deaths each day. After all, if we own a firearm after playing with toy guns, we will be just as quick to pull the trigger on a real gun as we were on our toy guns. The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze me.

This picture was taken at a Buffalo toy gun buyback program, in which all of the toy guns went into a white coffin that was ceremoniously closed at the end of the program.

The madness continues.

I guess we run around with guns with our fingers on the trigger now right? And we have this idiot trying to reform gun laws?

Those kids look like they are about to cry. Who the hell takes toys away from kids?! Oh yeah, liberals...because they are "helping."
