Top 3 Handgun Manufacturers

IMHO these are the top three handgun manufacturers: I base this on affordability, dependability, accuracy, and customer service.

Smith & Wesson
Bersa
Ruger

I know a lot of people are gonna claim others as the best, but according to my basis these three are tops.

What customer service? Did you have problems with the guns?

Bought my Ruger LC9 on 1/17/12. Have put 4200 rounds down range with it.

May, 2012 it got an expense paid vacation back to Prescott for a broken slide stop. From door to door was 8 days.

And, just yesterday (6/22/12), I received a Ruger cap in the mail, thanking me for my support of Ruger.

I am a happy camper with Ruger customer service.

1. Sig
2. Ruger
3. Colt

sent from my sending device

I own one S&W...M60 Pro Series 3 inch. Great gun. I also own 4 Ruger revolvers. Awesome stuff! I am a #1 Ruger fan.

My choices would be:
1. Glock
2. Glock
3. Glock

Though I can't comment on customer service because they have never failed me.

Even based on your own criteria your choices are flawed. First any survey where the #1 criteria is cost is lacking relevance to the rest of the issues. Next You list dependability and reliability as factors. Unless you have owned and used all the other choices your conclusion is further flawed. Last customer service. Unless you had issues with each brand of the same nature and dealt with each companies service dept then your assumptions are even further flawed. Your post should the three handgun manufactures I LIKE BEST ARE... All and any BEST post is subjective to the poster and his personal experience or his opinions formed from others stories. The best for X may be the worst for Y. If the BEST could be quantified then there would likely not be so many choices out there.

Makes of handguns I own or have owned: FEG, S&W, Springfield, Glock, and Sig Sauer. I've never had a problem with any one of the handguns from these manufacturers, so how do I rate them on dependability (they all work great), accuracy (they all hit their target) and customer service (haven't needed any since they all work fine). Affordability is a different animal. I would say the Sigs are a bit more expensive, but they feel so good when shooting them. *shrugs*

I use the same analogy with motorcycles... if there were one perfect bike out there, than we wouldn't have so many makes.

As far as customer service goes the only gun I had to send back was a Taurus I sent it off on a Tuesday got it back the following Monday I was pretty impressed with that

From my own experience - HK, Glock, Ruger (no particular order)

From what I've gleaned from speaking with countless gun owners at gun shows over the last 6 months - Sig, Springfield, Glock with an honorable mention to S&W (again, no particular order).

The worst (from gun shows) - Diamondback, Taurus, Hi-Point. Taurus also has an extremely loyal following. No middle ground there....people either love 'em or hate 'em.
