Time for an exception to the rules

have you noticed the silence of the media? there was no wall to wall coverage, and barely a mention of the heroism involved

I hope they will not charge him, and I agree the press is absent on this situation. They can not bring themselves to recognize that a citizen with a gun done some good.

"Time for an exception to the rules"

I disagree. If they want to use that justifiable shooting as a reason to change the rules, then fine. But giving an exception to a doctor when the guy working the loading dock would be fired in a heartbeat under the same circumstances, is just wrong.

The only reason the policy hasn't been enforced yet is because he's a doctor. If I were a bettin' man, I'd put money on it.

I used the word 'exception' because I read a report somewhere that they are welcoming him back with open arms. Pun intended?? No where is mentioned that they made an exception however, that was the the jist of it. I'll have to try and find those quotes again.

Found it.....

The hospital said Friday it was thankful for the "brave and difficult action" taken by Silverman and his colleagues. It said he remains a full member of the medical staff and "we look forward to Dr. Silverman's return to serving patients at our hospital."

This is the first that I've heard about it. I think that the mainstream media really loves mass shootings because the only propaganda that they spread promotes more violence.
