Thursday may 7th is national day of prayer

May 7th is the National Day of Prayer. The way to heal our nation is spelled out very plainly in the Bible in II Chronicles 7:14

"If my people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive them, and will heal their land."

Very simple and basic. Anyone should be able to those words. God has given us the "do over" we need. He has told us exactly what to do and how to do it. This is the word of God. No other way will work. God doesn't make deals, He Is The Deal !

I'm praying that that the the people praying in public will head the word of the Lord as relayed by Mathew 6:5-8

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.


But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.


But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.


Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."
