Three letter words

I was just looking at another thread talking about RIA's, the first response was "what is RIA?"
Some of us newer folks know some of these acronyms, initials, abbreviations, three letter words, etc. but there are several that we don't.
Maybe we could get a "Sticky" thread going with these.
