Thoughts on a FN 57 as a carry?

Anyone have any thoughts or experience using a FN 57 as a carry?

Ya, everything I read sways side to side on this gun. I have read it's light, little recoil, two types of ammo available to the regular public. But expensive gun and ammo.

It's a full size handgun, so concealment may be a little more challenging. If you have the cash for one, I think the pros far outweigh the cons.

As mentioned in one of the links to previous threads, this was the gun the terrorist Hasan used at Fort Hood in 2009.

Great gun. Shoots like a .22lr but hits like a hammer. Too big for my CC tastes but to each his own.

The 5.7x28 like most compromises makes for neither a good pistol or rifle cartridge IMO.

I love my five seven, very fun to shoot and its almost weightless. I plink with it and keep it as a bedside weapon. Its to large to conceal carry.

FNH 5.7x28mm is an excellent if expensive weapon. It is light weight, large, I would be concerned with over penetration for a SD weapon personally. I want hollow points in my PC and a shotgun for home defense to avoid over penetration.
