Thought I’d post a picture of my two old school 22lr guns.

The single shot lever action rifle was given to me by my father when I was 12 years old, 51 years ago and it shoots just as good now as it did brand new. The single six I bought because it looks and shoots great and along with the rifle, it’s a good beginner’s pistol for young adults to learn about guns.

Very nice! My favorite guns are lever action rifles, followed by single action revolvers, I have a number of each.

Sweet! I love the older guns. Especially when they are still operable and in fine condition.

I've got a couple of even "older" school 22's, a Stevens Visible Loader pump, circa 1907, and a Marlin Single-Shot Model 100, bolt action, circa 1935. Both are in great (although refinished) condition and still shoot sub-bottle cap at 50 yards. (I just recently sold an even older Marlin bolt action)

BTW, correct me if I'm wrong, but your lever action is not really considered a "single" shot, since I can see the feed tube below the barrel (I think).

The feed tube is just for looks, a lever lowers in the block to allow you to feed another round into the breach & when you pull the lever afterword's it pops out the spent round over your shoulder. Put a picture of your guns on here.

The Marlin bolt action was given to me by my Dad shortly before he died in an accident in 1963. It was my first gun. My Grandfather bought it new for around 5 or 6 dollars. I re-blued it and re-finished the stock a couple of times now since I've had it. It still shoots great.

The Stevens Visible Loader pump was my cousin Mike's first gun. He gave it to me in pieces shortly before he died in the 90's. He said he took it apart a long time ago and never could put it back together again. He said "I know you like guns, so you are the only person I want to have it". He handed me the stock and barrel, and a plastic bag full of parts. I found a couple of missing parts I needed on ebay, put it back together and I touched up the stock because it had a few dings, scratches and chips in it, but the barrel was just cleaned up a little. This gun still shoots pretty good too, considering it's going on 110 years old.
