**In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what
Thomas Jefferson said in **1802:**
**
**'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our libertiesthan standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered**.'*

I bought the book, "The Founder's 2nd Amendment," and it looks like we are right back in 1769 right now. Our Founding Fathers had it right back then, and they still do. As George Santayana said, those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

THis is the worst case of deja vu I have ever seen.

Very wise man. He was right. The Federal reserve act in 1913 did just as he warned.

The few who understand the system, will either be so interested from it's profits or so dependant
on it's favors, that there will be no opposition from that class." -- Rothschild Brothers of London, 1863

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws" -- Mayer Amschel

we need another couple presidents like him. but I think if we had some one running as he... he would not be allowed in office.
