Thats the way I feel, anybody with me asks me to carry so they feel safe

I carry a pistol everywhere I go. It doesn't make me feel safe.

It tilts the odds a little in my favor in some situations.

Hopefully that when push comes to shove it will be enough.

I asked my son that same very question today, While we were shopping at Dicks Sporting Goods.His reply was Yes Dad,I feel allot safer knowing you are Armed, and willing to defend us. I was a proud Papa !!!!

Obviously the tone of this thread is right on. My other thought (and it was important to me) is that it is one way I can, even though it is concealed, that I can, in my own mind at least, tell DC and all the nanny hyocrite politicos, including the king, that I object to this farce of a government we have in DC and their total disregard for the constitution; if you want a piece of me ,as this country turns into a socialist pile of crap, you will first get a "piece" of me.
