This is what socialism will make people become

Terrible and avoidable; though I fail to see what Socialism has to do with it. People have always been uncaring and hateful toward strangers and others they don't identify with. Ignoring the plight of others, even purposely subjecting them to horrific abuses are common in our history.

Russia has always had a socialist system which make people depend on the government. People become indifferant and uncaring because they cannot think for themslef, because the government is making all the choices for people.

I just think it sad to try to infuse a situation like this as a political action.

Should I therefore consider:

Captalistic Response: Kids would have sold tickets to make a profit on his death

Representative Republic Response: Kids would have formed committees to debate the appropriate way to help then claimed they would have saved him but ran out of time.

Dictatotor Response: It did not happen and he did not have permission.

It was a tragedy. There are things in this world that are not political ploys.

True enough. However, if the OP's main point was that the governmental system under which a people live affects their outlook and behavior, I would agree with it. We can see it here in the good ol' US of A: e.g., the Breeder who has 12 kids and demands that "somebody" better help her out (this example is an active thread on this site). On the other end of the spectrum, the middle class and wealthy are/have been/will be looking to shield their incomes from increasing taxation.

I'm sure we could come up with many such examples in our increasingly socialist society. It's a point well-taken, IMO.

Exactly my point.

The federal income was was just one of many attacks on our Republic. The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was another. We have been seeing an eroding of our freedoms and a movement toward this monstrous socialistic one world government for years. God help us.

:sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:
More socialistic garbage from the extreme left wing, Marxist, delusional idiots. Oh and by the way seeing as how you are a hypocrite when it comes to whining about name calling I added the last part. So lets us hear some more how you don't resort to name calling so the rest of us can all have a good laugh.

I recently heard Rand Paul make a statement similar to this as the state run media was trying to rip him to shreds on a variety of topics.

I would like to apologize to many of you for my response in my above post especially to C W @ M. I had told her I was going to try and not let any trolls bait me any more into stooping to their level. I guess I will have to work a little harder.:pleasantry:

When you get a handle on how to control it, PM me, willya?

I've noticed that Liberals pay pretty good lip-service to this wealth redistribution concept, but I haven't seen any of them step up and take people like Gore, Pelosi, Kennedy, Edwards, the Clintons and the myriad other multi-multi-millionaires in their ranks to task for their (excessive??) accumulation of wealth. I suspect we can also add our Fearless Leader to that list, if not currently, certainly in the foreseeable future. Seems to me they should be leading by example, neh? What's up with that do you suppose? "Fine for you but not for me"??
