I got my first 357 at the age of 22. By then my G/I service pistol was a Springfield Armory 45ACP.

The 357 is probably the most accurate heavy handgun in the world, and that is what I liked about it.

Eventually I concluded that the 45ACP was sufficient for all modern purposes.

In the meantime I have owned 44 magnum revolvers, 9x19 pistols, a 38 special, and a few 22's.
