"This is too funny" is not funny at all

I just watched a video clip on this site titled "This is too funny". I cannot believe there has not been any more comments with people being really upset. First of all you have a woman handling a hand gun with obviously no knowledge of safe handling of a gun. The first comment in response to the video was "he told her not to mess with it". Nice responsibility by the gun owner. Someone was really lucky not to get hurt in this situation. If someone had been hurt the ANTI's would have had a field day. I don't know the people involved and I am glad I don't. This sure isn't how I particularly want a sport I love portrayed. This is sad. I am going to have to rethink supporting USA Carry if I am the only one who sees this as wrnog.

There will always be knuckleheads that are set up and video taped just so they can be put on Youtube.
The idiots will always be put out for display.

So because everyone is not freaking out over some apparently stupid and awful video, you are mad????? Okaaay. Take a deep breath and repeat after me, "there are bigger fish to fry."

Yeah, like that wasn't set up....I mean really the lady just happens to be sitting outside and playing with a LOADED gun, it appeared to be a Glock, and didn't already have a ND. Her hubby just so happens to "catch" her playing with it and finds the video camera and sets off with some old firecrackers....

Did you notice she was OUTSIDE with a LOT of houses around, I don't know about you, but I generally don't sit outside fondling my guns for the world to see...OBVIOUSLY this was a set up "joke" she knew what he was doing the entire time...

So take it easy...believe me there are plenty of people here that thought is was dumb, they just didn't comment....as stated above bigger fish to fry...

Could you provide the link for the post you are referring to? I done a quick search and didn't find it under any thread titles. Could have went through every thread, but I'm to lazy for that.

After reviewing the video, either they both are complete idiots or this is setup. I'm thinking both. Anyway, the internet is full of people doing stupid things to get attention online. This is no different. While I wouldn't agree with what he done, there are better things to be discussing.

This is an old video posted on lot's of forums. Just because someone posts it here doesn't mean we all have to comment on it again.

I'm not sure you saw the same video...

Maybe it's just me...but it appears to be an unloaded 1911...her husband doesn't catch her doing it, he was teaching her how to handle it, and said he had to get something, and to "not mess with the gun." Which she ignored and messed with it.

The one thing I noticed this time watching it, was after she threw the gun and ran inside, he leaves it outside unattended.

That being said, I have seen this video a long time ago. I didn't get angered by it, I laughed, sorry?

Do you get this angry when other hollywood/tv sitcoms/movies get gun safety and basic mechanics wrong?

Seriously? You think that there is anything legitimate about that amateurish, obviously scripted joke of a video? Giving credence to crap like that only serves to set our cause back. The people in that video are a couple of idiots that were out to get some attention. Why would you perpetuate that for them by pointing more people to it?

Firearm safety is not a game. Those two people are idiots for making light of such a serious issue. They should be barred from guns AND cameras for life.

Let's find something worth discussing and let this thread die. It has no value beyond dismissal, to anyone serious about firearms.

I asked this earlier, and I think it would be a good diversion from the OP since it seems to be going downhill. Do you feel this way about other hollywood movies/tv shows? They have horrible firearm mistakes (safety and mechanics). Are you boycotting tv and movies as well?

Really??? Dont get me started......

You very well better re-think this statement.... Especially if you want others to take you serious as a gun-rights advocate....
