This is laughable...and somewhat frustrating to watch...Morgan vs Lott...

Who gives an eff what Piers Morgan thinks. He's British and sides with Bloomberg...that should say enough!
 
Piers just had this show to make his own point, not to discuss the issue. What a crock. If you ask a question, let them answer. Don't keep pushing your own agenda and your own discussion. It is very impolite to interrupt the speaker. Didn't they teach you that in school?
 
If Britain is such a great place for Piers maybe he should go back there and stay there. Maybe we should ask Piers what he thinks about the British governments policies on Ireland??? Dershowitz seems to forget Ireland is part of the free world but I'm sure there are still a few British Army soliders wandering there with their fingers on the trigger... The British have used their gun control to push their wishes upon their subjects...... More than 10k died from drunk drivers but I don't here Congress screaming for another shot at prohibition. It would cut into to their backdoor dealing time.... What an absolute waste if skin and air.... But what would you really expect from the Communist Network News...... If Piers is a citizen his citizenship should be revoked for sedition for not following his oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. If he is not a citizen he should be asked to leave and keep his face off of our TV's as OUR 1st amendment rights to not apply to him............

Actually, Ted did a full hour with the cretin, and it was actually a give-and-take, tolerable interview. The link goes to my channel where I put the four-part interview in a Playlist and saved it in my Favorites. The problem with Lott is that, unlike Ted, he let Morgan and Dershowitz get away with interrupting and filibustering. He probably should have walked off the set at about the 4 or 5 minute mark. He was not being allowed to finish a thought. Ted didn't let that happen, and Morgan is too much of a wuss to try to roll him the way he did Lott. Anyway...

I made it through 8 minutes and 45 seconds of it...couldn't stomach any more of it. Piers is a tool that refuses to allow any conflicting opinions on his show but will let opinions that match his to get all the time they want. He doesn't want an intelligent debate; he just wants to humiliate

Both Dershowitz and Morgan deserve a nice big piece of oak upside the head. Holy $*^# did that get me pissed off, I too couldn't finish watching. Kudos to John Lott for sitting there calmly I would have exploded on that English pos Morgan.

Who ever the author is that is supposed to be the authority on guns enough that he writes a book, is one of the worst representatives of gun owners. He allowwed himself to be steamrolled by Dershowitz and that idiot host.
 
Dershowitz has made his name by defending some of the biggest scumbags on earth... Notably OJ Simspon and his billionaire pedophile buddy Jeffery Epstein... I understand the need to give everyone a fair trial but to continually defend scum? He the kettle or is he the pot.......

Even a broken clock is right twice a day though. Dershowitz says that the prosecutor in the Zimmerman case should herself be arrested for the list of particulars she used to indict on. He actually said on several TV shows that FL's law was meant to protect guys like Zimmerman, and that the indictment was full of conjecture and outright lies that didn't comport with what the prosecutor knew to be true when she wrote it.

But generally speaking, yeah, he is a far-left whack-job.

Oh how I wish I could have reached into the screen and smacked the living *&^% out of both of them. Piers for being such a liberal dumb ass and Lott for taking that load of crap and not standing up for himself.
 
Morgan is good at interviewing celebs, but anything about guns he is lost. Anybody who is being interviewed that is not a sports figure or a movie star and talking about their careers and life and is discussing a serious American political issue is beyond Morgan. At an intellectual level, he seems to understand that there is a 2nd Amendment, but the technology of weaponry is beyond his comprehension. Responsibility for your own personal security and the security of the space and time you are in (outside of maybe you home) escapes him. He is lost in the world of violence needs to be solved, not security. I am sure that the concept that the Other/Dark Side has a say with their goals and objectives is beyond his comprehension. He needs a stalker in his house, and/or following his family, to given him the message.

The only way he could have not is by sinking to their level, which might have been Piers' goal. I actually applaud him for staying calm and collected and representing firearm enthusiasts as rational people

Yes, I also suspect that Morgan was just trying to get Lott to get angry enough to make a fool of himself on air. Then laugh about it later. I like the way he just stayed calm and let Morgan look like the Anti-Gun wacko that everybody already knows is a gun hating moron. Lott's a good guy. I like him. I'm happy to see that he represented us well. Thumbs up, Lott! :smile:
