Thinking of replacing my Sig220 with a Glock30...

Right now I have a SigSauer P220, and it's meant for a 12 o'clock hold, as I learned when I called up the company today, and I'm used to a 6 o'clock hold position. I was concerned it was shooting low.

Also, I LOVE Tulammo, since it's so cheap at about .19 cents a bullet (you can't beat that), but the bevel under the cap on the casing does NOT fit well in my Sig P220 magazine. There are these two little dimples on the top and the Tulammo can get caught when loading (no problems with ejecting). With AMERICAN Ammo, like Magtec, the bevels on the bullet casing are deeper and more sloped, and I have no trouble loading that in.

I know Sig makes a good gun, but so does Glock. What would your thoughts be on the Glock 30 over the P220, or vice versa? btw, the P220 I have is a full size, not a carry version, which is another reason I was thinking of trading it in.

There is a reason Sig has the motto of "To hell and back reliability". Glock is good too, but the Sig is a better fit in your hand I would suspect. The Glock is a double stack while the Sig is a single. Thicker width on the Glock handle. Different bore axis too compared to the Sig.

I like both but give the edge to Sig for ergonomics. I also have no trouble concealing a full size handgun with the proper setup. Can't really answer for you on that though. Glock is lighter and more compact for sure.

If you shoot lead, stay away from the Glock unless you want to buy a different barrel. The polygonal rifling and lead do not get along at all.
