Background checks universal or otherwise would not have stopped most of the mass shootings. Criminals and nut jobs that steel their weapons of choice are exempt from these checks. I guess to the loony left, law abiding citizens are the big threat.

There's a lot of good people out there that are just too dam dumb to know better and they are waiting for YOU to educate them. Break yourself away from your little gun world, get out and meet people so you can set them straight on reality. We are losing this battle because we rant and rave among ourselves while the enemy is ranting and raving to the masses. They are being heard, we are not. Circulating the same old emails around to the same old friends is not getting it done. Ranting on the same old webpages to the same old ranters and ravers is not getting it done. I hear what you are saying and that is my point. WE (gun owners) are the problem. We didn't ask for this fight. We didn't want to be political. We have been sucked into this. And we will tout logic statistics, history, and plain old common sense. Why? Does anyone think you can change their minds? We are arguing with idiots! They have an agenda and we don't!
