I'm sure the same thing was said when SCOTUS make segregation illegal, gave women equal rights, ruled that laws preventing interracial marriage were unconstitutional.
All because you hate an estimated 10% of your fellow humans over some BS passages from long dead goat herders. Spreading the love of your god....... right?

No, it's nothing like segregation or interracial marriage. This is another step by the left to destroy marriage (we've already seen the calls to extend this to polygamy) and destroy the ability to hold and live by religious beliefs (the attacks have already begun).

It is discrimination against a portion of our citizens, exactly like segregation and interracial marriage. I'm sure many felt that interracial marriage would also threaten marriage and religious beliefs.
You have every right to your beliefs, but you DO NOT have the right to tell people who they can love or marry.
- Christians defended slavery based on religious beliefs. Some probably still do, after all the KKK is a christian driven group.
- Christians oppose interracial marriage based on religious beliefs, and even do so today.
- Christianity creates a gender-based hierarchy with the female inferior and subservient to the male. A common belief in many fundamentalists sects of christianity today. ( I actually know a couple like this, even though the woman is much smarter than her knuckle dragging but superior man, and earn about twice what he does)
Is your marriage so frail that you feel it is threatened by SSM? Exactly how will a SSM effect your marriage? Please provide specifics, I'm curious in case I should also be worried.

Men and women are different. Two men or Two women are not the same (equal to) a man and a woman. Men and women because they are different bring difference to the union. It is that blending of differences that is valuable to society in addition to it being the best situation for raising children. As we've seen this is designed to continue the destruction of marriage by the left. Already polygamy is being promoted.
Even worse this is being used to destroy the 1st Amendment protection of religion. We've seen this attack on religion already begining including attacks on Clergy in the military.
There is nothing good about this attempt to make people accept homosexuality as normal and maybe even something special to be promoted.

When religion represents hate, intolerance, discrimination, subjection of one sector of society to another, then damn right it must be attacked, as any real threat must be attacked.
The same argument you postulated above has been used against women's rights, abolishing slavery, and allowing interracial marriages.

God who knows the future controls the future. God prophesied that this Last Generation would be just like the days of Noah & Lot and the number one sign would be APOSTASY. (Zechariah 12:3) "And it shall be that in that day I will make JERUSALEM a burdensome stone unto ALL peoples; ALL that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces. And ALL the nations of the earth will gather against it. ALL the nations includes America. The End of The Book has been written and nothing will change it or alter God's timeline. America's destruction is on the near horizon. How near? ISRAEL is God's prophetic timepiece, therefor, "how near" ALL depends on JERUSALEM.

Yet it is the individuals that the wraith of the anti-Christians are attacking. People like the florist who had been serving the gay customer for years but who didn't want to participate in a "gay wedding". Then in Florida, I think it was someone asked for an anti-gay decorated cake and the response was charges filed because the cake requester filmed the encounter secretly showing the refusal to make the cake. This is totally about attacking Christians (not Muslims who actually have been involved in murdering homosexuals for being homosexuals).

I beg to differ, I am a Christians and just like many others I never felt slavery, segregation, or the denial or interracial marriage are or were ever right.
But as a Christian I will never agree to same sex Marriage, I do believe there are men trapped in women's bodies and women trapped in men's bodies and they should have the same rights as I, IRS, property transfer, benefits, Wills, and every right afforded to a Married Couple and call it what ever you wish, but it will never be a Marriage. Marriage is between a Man and a Woman, no matter how many Wackos try to change the definition.
I guess I'm also against "Women's Rights" if it includes the death of an unborn child.
It's not hate it's common sense and with your help the Communist Goal for America.
