Got Beretta's?
With the current assault on legal gun owners, why would you voluntarily tell the the STATE POLICE anything!
The condition of the records in the County Offices is neither uniform or an many cases computerized. I have heard stories about the file cabinets full of pistol
permit info in the archives of the County Seat The STATE POLICE. chose to let the counties handle the Pistol Permit licences.
One we notified the STATE POLICE when we had an address change and nothing happened. It fell into a black hole of SEIU listlessness and apathy.
Now the STATE POLICE. is asking gun owners to voluntarily tell the STATE POLICE who you are when the Counties already have the information. As for me I am holding off on the OPT OUT list. Are we are just making their job easier by volunteering this information. Let them pay for someone to pull the records and type them in to a data base.
Chris Jacobs will be speaking at the Erie County SCOPE meeting. I plan on asking him this before I volunteer my information to the STATE POLICE:
Regarding the Pistol Permit information from ERIE County, How will that be transferred to the STATE POLICE. The Plastic ID's are probably computerized,
What If I still have a paper license, has that been computerized yet?
IF ANYTHING, DON'T BE IN A RUSH TO SEND THIS IN. PERHAPS WE SHOULD ALL SEND IN ON THE SAME DAY, LIKE APRIL 10TH.
Why make their job easier?
