The new metrosexual

As someone who's been pregnant in the military... LMAO.

Sorry, the fake belly doesn't cover it. And yes, sometimes being pregnant is a good reason to miss PT. Do you really want someone with morning sickness PTing with you? Besides the ick-factor, dehydration would be an issue. Of course, I did my own exercise, especially after. Found "Baby Boot Camp," which was awesome. And I had no issue going back to pre-pregnancy weight.

What was really funny... someone tried to convince me I still had to weigh in for a fitness test! Granted, I was still well within my weight standards even at seven months pregnant. I've said it before... I'm weird.

Just more crap from the libs. Why don't they have the troops blow themselves up so our boys will know how terrorists feel?

I probably should not say that because it may give them ideas.

I am suddenly reminded of a fantasy book I read (swords and shields and dragons and whatnot)... The people in the book discovered that the enemy they were fighting refused to attack women. So, they padded everyone's armor to make them all look like women! They had quite the advantage for a while... If only it were that easy in real life.

I am not a woman, but I have the utmost respect for all military personnel (maybe it had something to do with my ex-marine dad beating it into me). But seeing the battle that women go through during the later months and into delivery, I would think they should get every break possible because that ain't no picnic. I mean, have you seen any man (army, navy, airforce, marine or whatever) volunteering to carry and deliver a baby. No way. Only the toughest can handle that, a woman. I guess it shows that my mom beat respect for women into me more than my dad beat respect for military.

just my 2 cents (pre tax)

"The NCOs learn special exercises for pregnant women, who shouldn’t push themselves too hard or participate in high-impact activities such as snowboarding, bungee jumping or horse riding, York said."

Since when in the hell are snowboarding, bungee jumping and horseback riding part of military PT....clearly I joined the wrong branch.
