The neighbor is at it again

Well, my neighbor found a new animal to feed. Coyotes. All night I hear them yipping, never ceases. When they find the garbage bags (walmart bags) in the treeline, they all start barking and pretty soon there's about 10 of them, though from the yipping, there has to be many more in the fields. I have a solution chambered in 7.62x54R with an excellent bore and good scout scope, and they're only 250 yards away, but there's a road between me and them. I actually had one come into my yard and start harassing my dog, who was chained to the truck. When I went outside to investigate, I thought it was my dog standing by the truck, about 10 or 15 feet away from me. I was wrong. The dog was hiding under the toolbox in the bed of the truck shaking. It was a giant mangy coyote and I only managed to hit it in the shoulder with a subsonic .22 round once, definitely not a fatal shot. I guess I got lucky he didn't decide to chew on me a little. The dog only had a toothmark and a few small patches of missing fur on the back of his neck, which I took him to the vet for, just in case...

As for the neighbor, he fed the bears, which became a dangerous situation and required multiple confrontations with him, the DNR and the landlord to put a stop to. I also had to pick up his garbage myself and take it to the landfill, which cost me because you're only allowed 3 bags per household per week. Seriously, I wonder if this dude is mentally ill?? FWIW, I did get my small game license. Guess I can start here at home. Problem is, I'm getting real short on sleep and lately the wind has been blowing from the south, which alerts them to my presence.

I've heard theres a bounty, anyone know how to collect?

Check with wildlife, or even the county to see if feeding wild animals is illegal. Creating a nuisance and a hazard.

It is illegal, but getting the DNR to do anything is as simple as getting Joe Biden to tell the truth. They will show up and confiscate your deer if you dress it up in blaze and tie it to a 4 wheeler on the bed of your truck, check your bucket to see how many fish you have and measure the barrel of your AR-15 in the woods but they will flat out refuse to enforce any other laws. I have called and reported his illegal feeding (and dumping of trash) on property he doesn't own, as have others, including the landowner, but apparently there's "nothing that can be done at this time." Or any other time.

Selective law enforcement. Should be used to that by now.

Can't see what people on my ignore list post, but I'm guessing Mr. Dripalotz might suggest training your dog to pee on the mailbox to keep the coyotes away.
