the most important 1 oz of your BOB

is the (most effective) painkillers, stimulants and sedatives that you can get beforehand. If you have to bugout, you will need to be at the top of your game, and that means getting enough rest, staying alert when you need to be, and carrying on despite pain. The next 3 most important ozs are the antibacterial fungal cream, antibiotics, etc in your med kit. Most problems with the cold, heat, animals or humans you can just avoid or drastically reduce, but hiding/running/fighting don't do much for your immune system! :-) In fact, they drastically reduce the efficacy of your body, in almost every way. All survivalists should get all the vaccinations available, and keep them up to date.

I keep a bottle of Lortab, Aspirin and Tylenol in the BoB for pain. I've also got some Penicillin and Macrobid for infections. Lastly, some simple antibiotic cream for the non life threatening injuries.

I see that you are thinking. Try for some Ambien, or at least, some benedryl for sleeping, and at least, concentrated caffiene for staying awake. and crazy glue, tape needles, thread, sutures and forceps, for repairs of gear and body. The clear packing tape, with reinforcing threads of fiberglass, is badarsed stuff, can be twisted into cord, is very sticky.

Some things I haven't thought about, thanks.
