The Micro Guns

I need to revisit how the Kahr 9mm compares to these lil guns. I remember comparing the CW40 to my old S&W 4013 and decided it wasn't that much smaller. But if I can get a 9mm that is about the same size as a .380 I'm going to get a 9mm.

I just went to the Kahr site.... comparing the P380 and the PM9 they are pretty close in size but obviously the P380 is smaller roughly .4" shorter slide .1" shorter grip almost .25" thinner. But holy hell it is exspensive $650-$750. The 9mm is pushing $1K. I guess when the S&W comes out I just have to go to the shop and look and see.

Yeah the Kahr pistols are nice but a little pricey... That is why my son in law went with the Diamondback DB380. He put 50rnds through it over the weekend. Fiocchi 95gr. ball... No problems. Will keep interested folks posted on further range trips.

Carry an LCP with Crimson Trace laser. Battery life has been incredible so far. Gunshow this weekend. Saw a Taurus .380. It was an impressive little gun. After it is out for a while, I may add one to the quiver.

Last month I compared a Kahr PM9, and CW40. I didn't like the CW40 at all.
The PM series is noticably smaller than the CWs, and better made than the CW series.
I liked the size of the PM9, but I'm not much of a Kahr fan.

My Glock 26/27 and DB380 go everywhere I go, except the shower.

What I really like about the Taurus PT738 or "TCP" is that the slide locks open after the last shot. It seems to be the only pocket .380 that does this. Although I do like my daughters and son in laws new Diamondback DB380's. I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet but they passed with flying colors on their first trip to the range. If I decide to add a pocket .380 to my collection, it will most likely be the Taurus TCP.

By the way, for those of you who already have the Diamondback DB380 or for those looking to obtain one, the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster works beautifully.

I have around 15 ankle holsters of differrent brands/models and I know that some people can, but I can't carry a Glock in one. I was never even comfortable with an AMT .380 Backup on an ankle holster, but a LEO freind I gave one to wore it all over Hawaii that way. I'm just not an ankle guy I guess.
I wonder if one could wear an ankle holser if they have cankles?

At first I was jealous that the Taurus slide locks back, then I decided it would tip off the BG that I was out of ammo, and it made me feel better about the LCP.

I know I'm late, but I'd recommend the Kahr. They make fine compact weapons. I really love my Taurus revolvers, but I have no experience with their pistols. If the quality is anywhere near as good you can't go wrong. Same goes for Ruger, only have some of their revolvers. You'll never go wrong with Sig, either. The only gun mentioned I would not recommend is a Kel Tec, I've had nothing but issues with them. The only nice thing about them is their low price point, not knocking any fans of them perhaps they've fixed their quality control issues.
