The Gutting of our Military

We’re are going to lose our long term stability, which will be the main item that the proposed troop strength to pre WW2 strength will accomplish and will tie the hands of all the future Presidents.
This is very problematic for when our enemy’s feel we are weak and can’t appropriately defend ourselves, they will act against us just because they think we’re weak.
Because when we’ve reduced are capabilities to the point where were unable to stop any major aggression that might be directed towards us, then we’re going to be in such a defensive mode that we just might not be able to prevail in the long run and find ourselves in a really bad situation –IE- loose the confrontation and encounter a force that might just cause our way of life to be in jeopardy. .

Considering that Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of State in the administration of US President Richard Nixon, said openly upon the election of Barack Obama as the US president in 2008 that Obama had been groomed to be the ARCHITECT to lead America into the "New World Order", it should be a no brainer to understand. All is par for the course.

You do realize that they're actually only talking about cutting 50,000 troops right? If Hagal gets his wish the Army will go from 490,000 to 450,000 that's really not as huge a drop as these infowars stories make it sound like

Cutting 50,000 troops is not that bad. I forsee a lot more worries for the U.S. Gay/Les and drugs will do it's damage. Not enough jobs.
The worse our economy gets the more chance of the mafia becoming stronger. Possibly we will have hobos riding the rails again. Robberies and murder rates will go up. There could be another Charles Manson type cult. Possibly another large Woodstock gathering. Also riots on college campuses. Much turmoil ahead for the U.S.

OK, for #1, this is just another diversion tactic away from the economy and MaoBamaCare, ACA, what ever you think is appropriate. I think it's more Reparations by a different name.

As for the Military, being a twelve year Navy Vet during the cold war, 75-87. I do believe in a strong National Defense. BUT, we need to consolidate, compress and pull the hell out of areas in the world that are no longer in threat. 5-6 bases world wide to include all the services (not to include Coast Guard). Maybe one or two satellite instillations for rapid deployment but that's it. Europe, really? Close them all. Invest a major base in Israel. Leave Central and South America. Guam is fine or upgraded, ROK should be down sized and pull the hell out of Japan. No need for any base in Australia.
Realistic use of probable fire power needed is what we need to look at. Not some cold war plan of command and control. Heck we're in the 21st century. Most of what you need to know and look out for is available through satellites and the NSA.
What we shouldn't cut is benefits to those that have served or are currently serving. I'm actually coming up on a year anniversary for my filing with the VA over my ears. All I get is letters quarterly saying their working on it. Glad I gave for "God and Country"!

Obama wants to cut the size of the US Military to per WWII size. That is not surprising to me. You see, the way I read him is there are certain things he cares about, like increasing entitlement spending, giving more to the people that do not work to deserve it. He was a "community Organizer", which means he has NO experience in running anything, nor does he care. He has a certain agenda and that is all he cares about. He has never so much as sold girl scout cookies when it comes to business. And, yet they voted him the CEO of America. What fools.
Things like jobs, illegal aliens, the economy, and military defense have no place in his frame of reference. Listen people....He Just Doesn't Care.
For this America is going to go down the tubes.
I read a series of books years ago the were referred to as "The Left Behind" series. I this series of books/stories based on the New Testament foretelling of the "End Times" , America was a very weak nation as we are heading for now. The US had a very unimportant value/status among nations of the world. We were just an "also ran" country. Not leaders by any means. Then, the world was taken over by "The Anti Christ", many died and were enslaved by this ruthless minion of Satan. It ended in a battle between Satan and Jesus. What you need to know is that the "battle is forming on the horizon of time. The Bible says that the Great Generation of those living when The Jewish nation of Israel was re-established in May of 1948 (of which I am one of those people) would not pass before the return of Christ. My "generation" is starting to pass more and more everyday. Leading me to think there may not be much time left for this old world. There are so many things happening today that are spoke of in this book and the Bible, that I feel the "End times" are very near. That news is not good.
But, here is the good news. If you are a Christian, you are on the winning team. God Wins! Satan looses. The Christian Church(Saved Believers in Christ) will be swept up and 5/6th of the worlds population will meet a horrible, slow, unbelievable death.

If those of you out there, that remember this book series, will think back, you will see we are going through a very similar time in this world right now. Is Obama the Anti Christ, I think not. Is the Anti Christ in this world now, I believe he is(although at this time he does not know of his fate). He doesn't know he is the one Satan has chosen to inhabit.

The most important thing I want you to know is GOD Wins! God is in control. God is for you(not against you). God can do anything. He loves you.
He wants you to be with Him in Heaven for eternity. All you have to do is take Him as you Lord and Savior. It's really that easy. Do it now. Won't you?

Young folks should understand that if we have a need to "Crank Up" the war machine there is such a creature as the Draft.
I have very little faith in many of today's youth. I see either a mass exodus to the Great White North or (lol) Civil disobedience.

There will be the Battle of Armageddon, however,there will never be any battle between Satan & Jesus. When Jesus said..."I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all of these things have happened", Jesus wasn't talking about any generation or generations of "people", He was telling us that the RE-BIRTH of Israel (1948) would "MARK" the Beginning of the Last Generation of life on earth as we know it. A generation being "Three Score & Ten (70 years) or Fourscore (80 years) if by strength. We are already 65 years into this Last Generation and therefore living in the final days of the Last Days of this Last Generation. The Left Behind Series was entertaining at best, an extremely generic watered down version of the horrible suffering & death that will, in reality, immediately follow the Rapture of The Church. Yesterday's Bible Prophecies are Today's Headlines. The Rapture is imminent, time is much shorter than anyone may think. Jesus warns.."You must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him".

Please note, as for being true to our Republic, the Navy is the only military institution authorized to stand. the army and air force are to be used only in case of external war and only for the duration of that war. Our protection should come from the Navy only ou to a declaration of war.

Oh for chrissakes! We spend more on our military than most all other countries COMBINED! It's ridiculous. President Eisenhower, no stranger to war, warned us when he left office to be wary of the military/industrial complex. We have ignored his warnings for far too long and now we waste money on unnecessary and unwanted weapons systems, unnecessary and unwanted bases all over the world, while we ignore the vets that have given everything. I for one have no desire to keep putting money in to the pockets of billionaire corporate defense contractors.
