The Great - No Open Carry State

The State of Florida is a No Open Carry State.
We have the Dearly Departed Janet Reno to thank for that.

How would someone go about seeing if that law can be repealed and Open Carry once again be permitted.

Florida is not a no open carry state. If you are going fishing or hunting you can legally open carry. But otherwise, if you are on private property you can open carry with the owner's permission.

If it'll help, I can start the list... In PA you can open carry, and do so without government permission, unless you decide to go into a motor vehicle.

this is a canard put forth by the OC zealots. for example they'll cite that NJ allows OC once you obtain a personal carry permit, the problem is that it is next to impossible to obtain the permit in NJ

Even with states such as ca and nj removed, the majority of the US has open carry. Would you be satisfied if I changed 43 to 41?

WA is the same.
I know Oregon, wyoming, oklahoma, Montana, dakota, iowa, indiana, Vermont, Alaska, Arizona, Carolina, Idaho and several others are open carry states.
