Interesting and insightful...

How can we possibly defeat the Drug Lords when most people in the U.S. use drugs? The rich especially use a lot of drugs, cocaine, heroine.
So we are fighting a war with ourselves. The way to stop drugs is quit buying them. The drug problem in the U.S. is from problems within our society. Fix our society and drug use will drop.

The drug problem in our country is caused by our Fed. The Government knew we could never win the "war". It was a tool to make as many "Coloreds" criminals as possible. There by making them slaves to the Fed., as felons the Fed. could restrict their civil rights under legal means. Later it worked for hundreds of thousands of all races through the years since it started. Top end work FED. !

I'm telling you, I expected the report of deaths to be written by Joe Biden.
I grew up in the 60's and 70's, I also smoked a lot of weed, a lot of weed, a lot of weed *lol*.
Who was responsible? I would love to have a scapegoat to pawn some personal responsibility off on, but alas it was my decision.

Law Enforcement has their hands tied in a lot of ways. I would love to untie them but then something "Bad" would happen and some LEO with the best of intentions would get his butt in a bind and we would be right back to square one.

Howdy,

We will never win the "WOD".

Why? Simple. Supply and Demand.

Every day a new drug user/addict is born without any way to stop it from happening.

That creates a demand. Any time there is a demand for something someone, somewhere, somehow will provide a supply.

Then look at the money end of the illegal drug business:

It's a multi-trillion dollar industry that DEMANDS to stay alive and in business.

Next look at the LE side of the illegal drug business:

There just isn't enough LEOs and funding to stop the illegal drug business.

At the same time the "System" that fights the "WOD" spent stop much time, money and other resources targeting the street dealers and the low end middleman without ever going after the upper middleman and the the tops of the food chain.

When the street dealer gets busted there are 2 more waiting to take his place on the street corner.

The Man keeps busting 19yo hoodrats that are slinging crack rocks on the street corner but they NEVER go after Richie Rich that brings 2 tons of powdered coke into the USA on his Gulfstream jet on each trip.

Or that brings in a cargo container holding 70 tons of pot, or 10 kilos of smack on is Gulfstream.

To kill a snake you need chop off its head, not the tip of its tail.

Pretty simple.
