The danger to America is not Barack Obama

The following is from an unknown author but is so true. "The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President."

The general public have always been and will always be too ignorant or lazy to think for themselves, they just do as they hear and as they are told. The problem is with those that are supposed to be informed, like the mainstream media, not doing their duty.

The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.

Winston Churchill

Regretfully, the bread & circuses mollification of the masses and our pathetic public school systems have produced two generations of non-thinking, dependent prone, gullible debt serfs that have facilitated the election of a person such as Barack Obama.

Haha only two generations? This country started failing a long time ago.

I also don't get the hatred towards one man when there a hundreds of millions that think just like him walking next to us every day.

I agree. America has produced several generations of ignorant, and apparently stupid fools who may not think for themselves. They have been conditioned by TV, MSM, and are slaves to their mobile devices. They are content to suck at the teat of the Obama administration's sow, wallow in the mud, and couldn't care less about pride, honor, patriotism, duty, and working to be productive members of this society, despite being subjected to Obama's misguided neo-Marxist/Alinsky socialist aspirations. I hate to bring-up the lemmings over the cliff analogy, but can't think of any other at the moment.

Dr. Shockley, (one of the inventors of the transistor) declared that each generation of people spawned in the ghettos produced less and less intelligent people. He called it ghetto genocide.

While the premise holds some water, there are leaks in his bucket as many brilliant people have thrown-off the ghetto chains and left, became educated and are now the epitome of "thinkers" in society. Their ghetto, gang and violence experience has shaped their psychological views to abhor where they came from, and many want to make neighborhoods better by giving back some services to get kids off the street, into basketball courts, churches (yes, many have found religion) and schools where they may feel somewhat safe, to foster a real learning environment.

I salute those willing to change the face of where they came from. I used to know one such guy who had the gang tats, tears and such who worked for the same company, [as I] and he turned-out to be a caring father, hard worker and an outgoing personality. I asked him one day why he didn't have the tears and other tats removed, and he said he won't as it reminded him every day of what he did and where he came from. I wouldn't bear that cross every day, and hope it doesn't keep him from advancing within the company, but it may.

What frightens me about ignorant and stupid voters, is they choose their path based on handouts from our government sow. These same people will be ill-prepared when the dollar collapses and we are left with nothing but our devices to live.

Being armed may have no greater responsibility when it happens.

I believe that America started it's decline with the start of "career politicians"! Our elected offices were never intended to be filled by career politicians. To me the term "career politician" is code for thief and liar! Another thing is public worker unions! Unions have been the root cause of our failed public school system. To many teachers, who could not teach ducks to swim, are in classrooms. No longer do they teach American History, the US Constitution or many things that were taught when a lot of us were in school. They have dumbed down the voter and look at what we have got now in DC!

I worked at places where I had to be in the union. I never liked unions because I saw to many who could not pour pi$$ out of a boot with instructions written on the heel and was paid the same as me! Unions do keep the employer somewhat honest but they protect people who are nothing but parasites too.

There's a weekly show on Fox called Watter's world and every time I see it I'm amazed at how stupid the current generation is. Jay Leno used to have one called Jay Walking and it also proved that the saying "you can't fix stupid" is quite correct.

This is quite true.
The low-knowledge Americans with whom we have to live are comprised of every age group, nationality and deviant lifestyle, imaginable. It slipped up on us because we became complacent - 24x7 entertainment and loose morals will destroy any Roman Empire. But let's really look at the demographics projected into 2016. Unless there's a Red Sea parting of young people, between the ages of 18 and 24, by 2016, from stupidity, then don't count upon more than 10% of them voting Republican - they'll vote "Emotional," the manipulative witchcraft the Democrat Progressives have honed to perfection.
New consensus: Young people are Stupid
“It is a simple fact of science that nothing correlates more with ignorance and stupidity more than youth,” the National Review Online editor said in an interview. “We’re all born idiots, and we only get over that condition as we get less young.” - Jonah Goldberg
New consensus: Young people are Stupid | Two Heads are Better Than One

There will be no less than 3% more 'brown' people [Black, Hispanic and everything in between] available to vote [not necessarily eligible to vote] (assuming legal ones) in 2016 than were in 2012 - more than 90% of which will vote Democrat without even knowing the difference between a republic and Marxist State.

The quivering Messiah-struck white women who voted for rock star Barry, both times, are a bit disenfranchised this 2016 time around so the GOP may pick up a few of them, perhaps 20%, whose household incomes fell 35% over the Amateur's two terms.

There's a growing Black Democrat constituency which will swing GOP but probably not enough to counter the illegal-turned-instant-voting-citizen-by-Executive-edict 2016 vote created in an Oval Office test tube while we slept - an Executive campaign to flood the US with three times more border crisis illegals than what we're seeing now; in keeping with the well and long documented Saul D. Alinsky's and Karl Marx concept to saturate the system [break it] in order to set the stage for 'fundamental change,' Obama's mantra.

Below, an interesting and plausible link to 2016 voting demographics:

1% of the people make things happen, 9% of the people watch things happen, and 90% of the people (Young & Old) ask, what happened? It's always been that way. Young people are no more stupid than old people today, they are however, equally IGNORANT. Even on this forum, where I believe the majority of folks are "older", ignore the facts when put forth and continue with the same old rhetoric and BS. And that too has always been that way.

You're kidding. Wrong.
Young people are inherently politically stupid because of emotion-based decisions which Dems exploit with perfection. My [grown] kids agree with this. My point has to do with demographic numbers building against a 2016 GOP presidential win based upon stupid, and I say that satirically, young people combined with even more low-knowledge brown people whose 4-year Democrat loyalty can be bought with an extra EBT card, carton of cigarettes, fifth of whiskey or an Obama phone. The GOP's last chance to thwart a blitzkrieg Marxist takeover of the USA involves a massive revelation in young people, white women and brown people - which is unlikely to happen. A growing number of Americans, myself included, have purchased property overseas or researching to do so - only to buy time before global Marxism engulfs every last sanctuary on earth. Our police, military and Congress are constitutionally-neutered as demonstrated by their slight to token opposition to a blatant dictator. Their [police and military] lifeless stance and mantra, "just doing my job," and cowardice in fear of losing their jobs, expedites Marxist Amerika.

The right to vote should be limited to property owners over the age of 25; presumption in that one has skin in the game and acquired a level of decision-making which produces less corrupt political results.
The sacred act of voting has been turned over to the stunted and Bojangles; witchcraft of political correctness and multiculturalism empowering sluggards, parasites of a welfare system.
Political correctness, silly women [someone had to say it] and multiculturalism have been the gates through which America's enemies have entered and beaten her.

Feel free to rebut - this is my last comment on the subject - I don't argue.

Wrong. It's older people who think pointing their finger and blaming others that's broken this country. They let anger drive them, instead of logic.

Too many old people think running away and letting others fight the fight is the noble course of action. You run away to another country, not like older people have put up a fight anyways. If your presence hasn't changed anything, your absence won't be missed.

Chen: I think I understand what you are trying to say but, in this case, it seems you have substituted "you" to include all of us older people and insinuated that we have not put up much of a fight anyway. First of all, not all of us older people are running away from anything. We are staying put and fighting the good fight with all of the younger whipper snappers who don't seem to think our presence has meant much over the years. I, and most of my peers, have been fighting for this country all of our lives. As young people, we, like those of today, weren't politically savvy but thought we were. Our generation had more basic knowledge of government and how things should be run because we were taught and forced to learn pertinent facts which served us well later in life. Young people of today are literally ignorant of the basic concepts of our government and are completely deficient in knowledge of our history, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. That was evidenced this past 4th of July when younger people were interviewed by reporters and didn't know the purpose of the holiday and didn't know what country we fought during the Revolutionary War. Not all older folks are driven by anger or a lack of logical thinking. We have the ability to see things for how they are as opposed as to how they should be and try to teach young people how to recognize the difference. I may be an old curmudgeon but I will stand up for what is right along with all young people of today. After all, if we hadn't been pulling our weight, where would the country be right now? We may be old but we still have a little pee and vinegar left.:shout:

No insinuation...that's exactly what I said. It's in direct response to those calling out all young people.

It's especially referring to those buying land in another country so they can run away.

Disrespect begets disrespect. Not all of us young whipper snappers aren't uneducated or politically illiterate.

I, and most of my peers, have been fighting for this country all of our lives. As young people, we, like those of today, weren't politically savvy but thought we were.

You base your knowledge of how political savvy the youth is on videos that shows all generations being ignorant...I wouldn't say you are politically savvy today either.

Our generation had more basic knowledge of government and how things should be run because we were taught and forced to learn pertinent facts which served us well later in life.

I wouldn't be able to tell by the videos you claim only interview young people...The results aren't any different in my area , where age only played a role in ignorance when it came to blaming.

Uh oh, there you go.....leaving the country (CONUS)? I don't know if all young whipper snappers of today are illiterate but a hell of a lot of them are politically stupid, not savvy. One only has to watch the news everyday and see how dumbed down they are. I don't claim to be politically saavy but, from the examples I see everyday and comments I hear, I sometimes feel absolutely brilliant in comparison. You are apparently young and haven't been around the block many times yet. With age and experience, you will see your outlook change to being more in agreement with us rather than in disagreement. Don't ever think that being young means you have all the answers to all problems. You still have quite a lengthy learning process yet to go through. I encourage you to participate in political activities and continue to learn about our political processes. Only, don't forget, we old timers have been where you are today and have made our contributions to our society and continue to do so at every opportunity. No, we will not be leaving the country, we will be staying and trying to teach the young ones what it was like in our heyday and how much better things were and their obligations to improve our government. It is incumbent upon you, as a young person, to try and correct the wrongs you perceive having been made. We old folks may not have been perfect but don't complain until you can do better. I do enjoy the repartee, maybe we can teach other something!

The feelings mutual. Some old folks earned my respect, but there are a massive amount of them that are also politically stupid, if not just stupid in general.

One only has to watch the news everyday and see how dumbed down they are. I don't claim to be politically saavy but, from the examples I see everyday and comments I hear, I sometimes feel absolutely brilliant in comparison.

Again, feelings are mutual. Nothing in the news has ever made me feel the older generation is doing something right...They are always just pointing fingers.

You are apparently young and haven't been around the block many times yet. With age and experience, you will see your outlook change to being more in agreement with us rather than in disagreement.

Probably not. I'm not even young if the cut off age for young is <25.

Don't ever think that being young means you have all the answers to all problems. You still have quite a lengthy learning process yet to go through.

Don't you ever think being old gives you the answers. It seems at a certain age people think they no longer need to learn...or maybe they just can't learn. Being old also does not make you ant more important than the next generation.

I encourage you to participate in political activities and continue to learn about our political processes.

Done. I encourage you to do the same.

Only, don't forget, we old timers have been where you are today and have made our contributions to our society and continue to do so at every opportunity.

some of you...guess what...as many if not more whipper snappers are also politically active.

No, we will not be leaving the country, we will be staying and trying to teach the young ones what it was like in our heyday and how much better things were and their obligations to improve our government.

If only that were true...maybe you missed this:
A growing number of Americans, myself included, have purchased property overseas or researching to do so - only to buy time before global Marxism engulfs every last sanctuary on earth.

It is incumbent upon you, as a young person, to try and correct the wrongs you perceive having been made. We old folks may not have been perfect but don't complain until you can do better. I do enjoy the repartee, maybe we can teach other something!

Chen: I didn't miss MZIngrahmm's comment about leaving the country. That is his prerogative but I much prefer to stay here and put up the good fight. Believe me, we old folks have the same desires as you, just put into different words. You seem to be adversarial to the thought that old folks have done anything right for the country. Ah, the innocence of youth! Don't forget, you will one day be old and some young one will be trying to say everything is your fault. To that end, I challenge you to do something for the betterment of the country. First, however, you need to learn how to be objective and get your facts together and then go balls to the wall. The mantle of leadership for the country is falling upon younger folks like you and others. I sincerely wish you well and hope you are up to the challenge. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to get back to my rocking chair for my nap. You have a good day and, hopefully, future.
